What Classes?

Become a Ham Radio Operator
You can become a Ham! All you need to do is get licensed. There are three different license levels: Technician Class, General Class, and Extra Class. Each license level comes with additional privileges.

You can take a class from LCARC to help earn your license. We offer FREE classes periodically to help you earn your first license, or to upgrade to a new license. Please check our calendar for the latest information on the classes we are offering.

Class Fee: FREE
Exam Fee: $15.00
Details: Pre-registration is required prior to April 7, 2010, Must attend all four sessions, Exam administered during last class, License manual required.

Scheduling Exams
If you have studied and you are ready to take an exam, please use our contact form to let us know you will be at our next testing session. Walk-ins are welcome, but we encourage appointments.

Exams are held the 1st Tuesday, Monthly, at 6:00 p.m. PST
